A little about the role... We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our Finance team to cover a period of parental leave, until the end of August 2025, in a role that can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.
In this role, you will utilise Power BI to generate a range of valuable insights for our project and leadership teams and help optimise business performance.
This role will also be responsible for supporting a range of strategic and commercial outcomes by providing financial analysis to the leadership and project teams.
You'll also play a key role in preparing the budget and forecast for each of our client and internal projects and will also support our newly formed product group, Pladia, with their requirements.
This is a great role for somebody with well developed finance fundamentals and commercial acumen, who enjoys working with data and systems to generate insights for business leaders.
It's also a role that offers opportunities to engage across our business, including regularly with our leadership team, thus building your understanding of what we do and how your role can help influence future performance.
You could be the one if you have... Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Management Accounting or Project/Cost Accounting position Finance Business Partnering experience - specifically the ability to breakdown and explain technical financial information in a way that is easily understood by stakeholders without a financial background Advanced skills with Power BI.
This is the primary system that you'd work with in the role and hence previous experience is a key requirement Advanced data visualisation skills Advanced MS Excel skills Experience in MS Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise financial management systems Experience with SQL and DBT is desirable Well developed communication and time management skills.
