About the Role Our Global BHP Technology function is undergoing an exciting transformation journey and moving towards more modern ways of working.
Be part of a newly formed global Product team that partners with our Operations and Functions to drive improvement and innovation in safety, culture, productivity and social value through the application of world class technology.
As part of the Corporate Functions & GBS Technology Supply team, you will report directly into the Product Manager and work closely with the technical lead to define strategy, roadmap, solution design and architecture of the Commercial / Supply (ERP and non-ERP) applications and platforms.
In this role, your key accountabilities will include:
Support the execution of Opportunity Assessment and Identification & Selection process for projects under portfolio for SAP GTS. Accountability for the ownership and ongoing maintenance of all Blueprints within the assigned areas for SAP GTS and its integrated architecture. Provide subject matter expertise to technology projects and DevOps teams to drive collaboration within the team to ensure effective execution of solution design on projects and other activities for SAP GTS. Engage with stakeholders in technology and business for technology trend analysis, problem management, business impact scoping and other testing / training requirements for SAP GTS. Support the development and maintenance of the technology strategy and functional roadmap for SAP GTS, ensuring alignment with global technology strategy and business needs. Manage application lifecycle to keep the GTS application current and relevant for the business. Responsible for solution design and architecture governance for SAP GTS (both SAP and non-ERP), identifying new solutions and optimization opportunities that will improve the relevance and performance of SAP GTS and its integrated solution. Perform high level solution design for enhancements or changes, incorporating the new design into the application architecture for SAP GTS. Commit to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development, as well as BHP's Charter and Code of Conduct. About You As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
Demonstrated over a decade of experience specializing in the design and architecture of SAP Global Trade Sanction (GTS) module. Deep understanding of various aspects of GTS HANA search capabilities and GTS e4H version. Deep understanding of Compliance and Sanctions module for SAP GTS and embedment of standard configuration and reporting requirements for the module. Design, configuration and implementation experience in SAP GTS and its integrations with SAP modules such as Materials Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Transport Management, and SCRM. Working knowledge of other SAP functional areas for SAP GTS. Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing these into application business processes. Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing these to solve business problems. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Team working skills, capable of engagement and influence different stakeholders and ability to manage conflicts/issues with the business/end users. Relevant SAP application Certification for SAP Global Trade Sanction (GTS) is desirable. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related (STEM) discipline is desirable. Verbal and written Spanish communication skills would be beneficial. Knowledge & practical experience in the area of Agile, DevOps methodologies and practices is an advantage. Location Perth or Singapore is the top preferred location due to most of the team currently based. While there is also flexibility to consider Brisbane or Adelaide office.
