About the role Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Support Officer provides day-to-day support to the Maintenance Team with Work Management in 1 SAP & Fiori, Customer Service duties, and general office management.
This will all need to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our Newman Residential Houses, Newman FIFO accommodation, and Eco Villages.
This is a permanent position based in Newman offered on a Residential basis, working on a Monday to Friday roster.
If you are relocating for this position, you will be provided with subsidised rental accommodation in addition to power and water subsidies.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health and safety.
Positive customer relationships through effective communication and consultation.
Oversee office operations, which includes ordering and receiving office consumables, managing stock levels, carrying out workplace inspections, updating performance boards, and improvement initiatives.
Support the Maintenance Planner with scheduling planned work orders by contacting and arranging access with tenants.
Triaging of tenant maintenance issues, raising notifications in 1 SAP and escalating to the shift Supervisor where required.
Review notification quality against standard, provide feedback to originator or supervisor, and update data where required.
Active involvement and good understanding in the corrective and preventative maintenance planning process.
Complete Field Leadership activities as per KPI's.
Upkeep of tenant contact registers.
Management of central maintenance mailbox.
Management of vehicle fleet.
Issuing of keys to trade teams and contractors.
Supporting team with onboarding of new staff.
Working on continuous improvement activities at a daily frequency.
Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour.
About You As the successful candidate, you will possess the following: A continuous improvement mindset and are driven to supporting a Team to achieve its purpose "Together, Our House Your Home." Maintenance process knowledge.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1 SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word.
A proven track record of safety management.
Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously.
A multi-tasking team player who can also work in a stand-alone capacity.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Confidence to speak up.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
