About the Role In this role you will provide additional focus to fleet asset health to improve on the delivery of fleet performance in line with the maintenance strategy, and operating principles and according to the Work Management process.
You will engage/work with Maintenance Execution/reliability engineering superintendents and direct reports to drive continual improvement on mobile maintenance practices.
This role will be based at Newman Operations on a roster of 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 off fly-in fly-out from Perth to Newman.
Reporting to Superintendent Mobile Maintenance, in this role you will: Drive business improvement through the measurement of performance metrics Engage/Work with Mine Control to ensure data integrity within Minestar and Modular Maintain effective relationships with the planning teams and assist with the forward log based on condition data for mobile equipment Carry out post execution quality inspections to eliminate defects to facilitate reliable and efficient maintenance operations across BHP Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems Improve quality and accountability of inspections.
(Safety/Production) Remove workload from supervisor around forward planning.
(Safety) Remove unrequired WOs from forward log (Production) About You You will have Trade qualification with post trade experience on mobile equipment maintenance.
You will be a self-motivated professional, able to collaborate with & influence others to achieve reliability goals & targets.
You will have: Technical knowledge of mobile equipment Demonstrated knowledge and experience in condition-based mobile maintenance practices and diagnostics Proficiency in 1 SAP, Web SIS, Cat Minestar, Vims 3 G A sound understanding in oil analysis Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analyse condition monitoring information and provide accurate reported recommendations The ability to multi-task and monitor data trends across an equipment class Communicate technical points & logic effectively to diverse audiences Excellent problem solving skills, work well under pressure and capability to meet fixed deadlines Excellent engagement, communication and interpersonal skills Developed capability in the use of Spotfire and BOBJ (Desirable) Demonstrated experience in integrating data from multiple source systems when building reports and dashboards (Desirable) About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
