As a mobile Maintenance Fire Panel Technician , you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests across multiple key contracts for BGIS.
This role is based in Newcastle, NSW.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
Responsibilities Maintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS 1851-2012 Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire systems and equipment Installation of Portable Fire systems and equipment Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work Liaise directly with the client regarding service work Conduct facility maintenance as required Commit to workplace safety & good work practices Skills & Experience Strong experience and understanding of AS1851 and AS2118 Demonstrate experience working with Portable Fire Equipment Demonstrate and understand process of installation, repair and testing Ability to mentor and train staff WHS Construction White card Drivers Licence (must be able to drive a manual) Culture At BGIS, we create safe environments where our people can do their best work.
