We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Structural Engineer to join our Newcastle team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy, and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. Our structural team is built from our diverse skills and knowledge, spanning design and structural integrity to project management. They collaborate to provide a full suite of Structural Engineering services including Mine & Process Plants, Ports & Loadout Facilities, Aerodrome/Airport Facilities, Modular Accommodation Villages & Housing, Tailings Storage Facilities, Diesel Fuel & LNG Infrastructure, Industrial Facilities, Water Treatment Plants, and Value Engineering.

An ambitious and technically minded Senior Structural Engineer or Structural Engineer who wants to show us what you're made of and is ready for that next step in your career. We are looking to continue to build our already solid reputation in the market as having a great culture. Your values, behaviours and attitudes will align with those of the broader business. You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 12+ years' experience and looking to join a growing company and a progressive team. You will preferably be a Chartered Engineer. If not, then eligible for a chartered status and willing to achieve it with BG&E Resources support. Experience in design management involving multi-disciplinary teams with strong communication and client relationship management skills. The ability to mentor, motivate and guide team members. Structural software knowledge of SpaceGass, RAM Concept, ETABS or similar design programs is preferred. Why Join Us? Supported by Gavin Wearne - Regional Director, our local multidisciplinary teams are supporting our East Coast clients through a range of local projects, showcasing our expansion into the Hunter region. Our Newcastle team also integrates and supports the broader works in the West by collaborating with our Perth and Mandurah teams.
