About the Role Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to support the identification of continuous improvement projects and support the delivery of these projects to drive value creation. The role will provide analytical support to the Lenah Valley site with qualitative data of site KPI's, waste, and machine efficiency. You will be supported and be part of a close-knit team who loves to collaborate and have a wealth of knowledge.
Key responsibilities Develop an understanding of the current processes and cost drivers across site then analyse data and understand correlation between plant performance and real time events. Analysis usage variances of process order and conduct investigations where necessary. Provide detailed insight by mapping and reporting on all forms of site loss and waste opportunities. Site level daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, include cycle count report, waste report, site KPI report, etc. Manage the site general AP cost centre and inventory controlling governance. About you Highly analytical, data driven and can extrapolate meaning to complex data. Strong financial reporting and analysis experience. Power BI/ SAP experience highly desirable with advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent communication and influencing skills – ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders. Strong stakeholder and business partnering skills coupled with passion for teamwork and collaboration. The Bega Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
