The 1L Beverages Department at Berkeley Vale is responsible for making some of Australia's most beloved plant-based milks, including So Good and The Alternative Dairy Co. As a UHT Operator, you will be responsible for the mixing and heat treating of batches (UHT stands for 'Ultra Heat Treated').
You'll play a key role in creating high-quality products that change lives every day.
Reporting to the Senior Team Leader on shift, this role is currently required on our Afternoon Shift, which operates from 3pm-11pm Monday-Thursday, and 10am-4pm on a Friday.
Although it is highly regarded, no prior UHT or Tetra experience is required.
Key responsibilities include: Coordinate activities with other Beverage's areas for efficient and continuous operations.Move product and mix batches as per the production plan.Monitor the UHT process and check for any leaks or issues.Send treated batches to the correct filling machine.Record data as required and undertake product and quality testing.Clean and maintain hygiene in the UHT area.Take part in continuous improvement activities.The successful applicant will also have the following skills and experience: Forklift License.Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg.Ability to follow instructions and procedures.Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks in a constructive manner.Ability to analyse information and make decisions accordingly.Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.Demonstrated experience driving a positive culture aligned to Sanitarium's values of In It Together, We Make It Happen, Pioneering Today for Tomorrow and Serving Others.Who are we?
