We have an exciting new opportunity for a Beverage Technical Manager to join the team. Act as the technical leader for the Pepsi trademark across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. This role involves understanding business and consumer needs to proactively drive technology and systems while leveraging global best practices to enhance brand performance. You will manage the Innovation agenda and provide support for Operations, Quality, Nutrition, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, and Packaging Development.
ResponsibilitiesManage all technical aspects of the Beverage Innovation agenda, supporting new product development and launches.Establish quality standards for new products and create qualification protocols.Collaborate with Operations for local implementation and engage Bottlers in product rollout.Ensure compliance with Pepsi International quality and manufacturing standards.Strengthen Bottler expertise through best practices and advise on deviations from standards.Work with ANZ R&D on Regulatory and Scientific Affairs and the Health & Wellness agenda.Coordinate with the APAC Beverage Packaging team on packaging technicalities.Oversee crisis management, including product recalls and contamination responses.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in R&D, Technical Manufacturing, or Quality positions in the beverage manufacturing industryBachelor's degree in Food Science or a related disciplineExcellent technical and analytical capabilities.Proficient in numerical analysis, computer usage, and a proactive self-starter.Strong communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.Positive, solution-oriented mindset.Solid understanding of business principles.For you:We offer a competitive benefit package.Access generous leave options (e.g. wellness, birthday, volunteer, purchase additional leave/cash out leave)We understand that bringing the best version of yourself to work means looking after yourself holistically.
