W Sydney located at 31 Wheat Road is hiring a Beverage & Food Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this new role is instrumental in driving awareness and excitement around W Sydney's culinary and nightlife experiences, making each venue - from BTWN and 29/30 to Living Room - must-visit destination on Sydney's dining and nightlife map.
The Beverage & Food (B&F) Marketing Manager will bring W Sydney's vibrant personality to life across digital, social media, and traditional channels, creating and executing marketing plans that reach on-property guests and locals alike. With an eye for unique partnerships, PR opportunities, and event-driven campaigns, you'll take the lead in fostering relationships with influencers, media, and community leaders to amplify each outlet's presence. The right candidate will be passionate about lifestyle trends, tuned into Sydney's hospitality scene, and ready to work closely with our brand and continent teams to build W Sydney's presence on the global Marriott Bonvoy network.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans for W Sydney's restaurant and bars, in consultation with the Director of Marketing and Director of B&F. Lead B&F marketing meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams. Oversee and execute B&F photoshoots and curate content for digital and offline B&F channels. Manage social media presence to showcase W Sydney's unique offerings and position each venue as a destination. Develop PR campaigns, influencer partnerships, and local media outreach to drive demand and enhance each outlet's positioning. Conceptualise and roll out high-impact promotions, events, and seasonal programming in collaboration with the Director of B&F. Lead local activation of B&F events and promotions, collaborating with partners to ensure seasonal, high-impact campaigns. Track campaign metrics, prepare KPI reports, and deliver ROI analysis to inform strategies. Partner with Marriott Bonvoy to activate B&F loyalty initiatives, and build demand-generating partnerships within Sydney and beyond. Represent the brand in all marketing and PR conduct in line with W Hotels and Marriott International's core values. Mentor and support Marketing team members, fostering their growth and career development, supported by the DOM. Be an early adopter and champion for innovation, as the W brand has been since inception, to deliver PR coverage, online marketing, channel engagement and enhanced guest experience. Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, personal integrity, manages time well and is highly visible in areas of responsibility and builds a positive work environment. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners, suppliers, and vendors. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field. Minimum of 2 years in B&F or hospitality marketing, with expertise in social media, content creation, and digital marketing. Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and an innovative, results-driven mindset. Proficiency in Canva and Adobe InDesign, with a flair for creating engaging content. BENEFITS
