About the position
Our beverage team plays an important part in our Club operations. Wests Nelson Bay currently has a Casual opportunity available for a customer-focused individual. Wests bar operations provide quality service to our members and guests. Key responsibilities include:
Provide friendly customer servicePreparation and service of beveragesOperation of Tab and Keno terminalsCleaning of workstation and equipmentOperation of tills and cash handlingCollect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaningThis position will require availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to the early hours of the morning. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holidays, and school holiday periods; availability during seasonal peaks is essential.
This position has been identified as a traineeship opportunity. Complete formalized training to gain a Certificate III in Hospitality, a nationally recognized qualification.
Certifications required: RSA, RCG, Tab Basics Certifications.
Please be aware that this role requires a clear criminal check prior to employment (Cost covered by Wests).
