Salary: £20,965 - £22,397 (Pro Rata) per annum (FTE £29,950 - £31,996)
Contract: Fixed Term until October 2026
Hours: 24.5 hours per week.

The Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) Nature and Greenspaces Officer will help nature recover by working with stakeholders on the development of a series of projects that take, or support, action to improve outcomes for wildlife and harness additional benefits for communities.
Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to create a programme which will build foundations with key stakeholders, landowners, land managers, and communities to enable landscape and species recovery in Bernwood, Otmoor and the Ray (BOR) over the long-term, for the benefit of heritage, nature and people.
What you'll be doing Engaging with partners to undertake survey work Working with landowners to understand aspirations for their land and develop well-connected habitat improvement projects Using GIS to identify key delivery sites, plan projects and identify gaps in participation Work with consultants and partners to develop and deliver user surveys for greenspaces Collate data and work with the RBOR Programme Lead to develop delivery projects for the round 2 funding application What we're looking for Experience of ecological survey and habitat management techniques Ability to engage and communicate effectively with farmers and landowners Demonstrable experience of GIS in relation to ecological or farm applications Ability to work to targets/deadlines without close supervision For all your hard work you can expect a great rewards package in return, including 36 days of annual leave pro rata.
