Responsibilities
Designing Structures - Create designs that can withstand loads, forces, environmental conditions, etc.
Analysing Structural Integrity Selecting the best materials for the project based on requirements Working closely with architects, contractors & clients Assessing existing structures & providing recommendations regarding safety, renovations & repairs Troubleshooting & resolutions of structural issues to ensure safety & performance Main Tasks
Structural Design Load Analysis Computer Aided Design Structural Calculations Project Coordination Site Inspections Preparing Detailed Reports, Technical Drawings & Documentation Minimum Qualifications
PhD Degree MScEng Degree BEng Degree Skills include but are not limited to:
