Major Projects are the specialist infrastructure division of Bennett + Bennett, tasked with delivery infrastructure, resources and renewable projects in both Metropolitan and Remote Locations across Australia.
With a growing portfolio of projects, we require an additional leader to assist in driving the operations, business development and project delivery.

Your Role and Impact:
Project Contribution: Play a key role in the survey management within the division, assisting the division leader and operations manager within the capability, business and operations development.
Surveying Excellence: Support the delivery of remote and metropolitan projects whilst tasked with developing and enabling early involvement leveraging an array of MLS, ALS and Spatial technologies available within the wider Bennett + Bennett group.
Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all tasks.
Fieldwork and Office Tasks: Engage in a diverse array of tasks, including fieldwork, office calculations, point cloud registration whilst growing the business with client interaction and expanding the portfolio of design phase involvement.
Innovation: Utilise advanced surveying technologies and methodologies, driving innovation in all your projects.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development, with opportunities for career growth and advancement.
What You Bring:
Location: Resident of Toowoomba or surrounding region is preferred, to work alongside the Major Projects leaders based in Toowoomba.
Expertise: Proven experience as a Senior Surveyor, with civil construction experience and remote project knowledge highly valued.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using 12d software, Trimble Business Centre, Starnet, 3DR, as well as an array of Survey and Scanning equipment.
Qualifications: Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor degree in Surveying is essential with registration from the Surveyors Board of Queensland or another state or territory highly regarded.
Attention to Detail: Excellent time management and organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and high-quality results.
Passion: A strong passion for working with a top-tier team of professionals, contributing to significant infrastructure projects.
Flexibility: Ability to balance project delivery, operational support, infill rosters and assist in project startup.
