We pride ourselves on the professionalism with which we pursue our goals and our strong links into our RoleBengalla Mining Company is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Commercial Team to manage a large variety of contracts and provide assistance with contractor management on site. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping our commercial relationships and ensuring smooth operations through meticulous attention to detail and your strategic negotiation ResponsibilitiesLead the development and negotiation of contracts, focusing on commercial aspects such as pricing and terms and conditions.Prepare comprehensive tender documents for release, ensuring clarity, compliance, and competitiveness.Evaluate and manage receipt of tender submissions, including preparation of results for thorough review, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, up to recommendation to award document preparation.Ensure all Contract Managers adhere to legislative requirements and uphold our organisation's standards and practices.Cultivate and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment to drive mutual success.Provide regular feedback to the Procurement & Supply Superintendent and Contract Owners.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in contract and contractor management processes and documents.Qualifications and experienceIdeally, you will bring:Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Commerce, Law or Engineering would be ideal) and/or relevant work experience in contracts & procurement;Experience with contract law;Minimum five years' experience in end-to-end contract management;High level of proficiency and demonstrated experience in contract management and procurement;Experience in project management;Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, including verbal and written communications;High competency level in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;Previous exposure and experience in Mining operations is highly desirable.What We OfferBengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
