Our residential aged care homes are just that - a home for our residents. They provide a comforting and warm space for older Victorians to live, supported 24/7 by our experienced and kind-hearted staff.
We're looking for RN's on permanent, part-time morning shifts.
You'll make a difference in the residential home by: Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications.Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standards.Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required.Applying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resources.Providing employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships.Why Benetas? $34 to $51 hourly pay rate depending on experience.Not-for-profit salary packaging for up to $18,550 per year - offering you more take home pay with less tax!Close to public transport with parking also on site.A strong learning culture with paid training hours to build your skills and our own Scholarship Program.Proudly being part of a business that values Respect, Responsibility, Community, and Spirit.A proven history of internal career progression and opportunities for you to move within Benetas so your story with us continues.Graduate nursing programs for new Nurses and a Transition to Practice Program for nurses new to working in aged care.To join our excellent teams, we're looking for more motivated Nurses with: A current AHPRA registration (Bachelor of Nursing or higher).The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders.An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.A high level of accountability for your own work.A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour.The annual flu immunisation and commitment to receiving each year.To work in Residential Aged Care you will need to have an NDIS Worker Screening Check. The NDIS Check lasts for 5 years and can be used with any organisation/employer. You can find out more information about it here. You can still apply for a job if you do not have the Check already, but you will need to receive it before you can start working.
