About the Role: We are seeking skilled Belt Splicer's to work with our fixed equipment across our Australian operations in Western Australia.
Your role will be to assist the fixed plant maintenance team with installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems. Roster available within this role are 8/6-7/7 & 7D7N- 14RR day/night rotating roster on a Fly in/Fly Out.
About you: Hold an Australian equivalent trade certificate in Polymer Processing cert III or relevant experience in the field.Candidates with HRWL's (HR, DG, LF, RB) will be highly regarded but not essential.Experience in conveyor belt repair and maintenance is essential as part of this role.Ability to work in confined spaces & work at heights.Willingness to travel as you will be working across all sites and assets for BHP as part of field service department.Commitment to the highest Work Health Safety and Environment standards in all activities, with the ability to apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures.A responsible attitude, with a willingness to be held accountable.Commitment to quality workmanship ensuring that everything is completed to a high standard.A strong work ethic and ability to follow instruction as well as work well as an individual or as part of a team.A willingness to learn and develop to align with BHP policies and procedures.What is on Offer?
