We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to join our team and help take the business a big step forward.
We are a highly regarded security company in the Sydney area, servicing and installing intercom, alarm, access, and CCTV systems for commercial and strata buildings. We have strong systems, procedures, excellent staff retention, quality clients, and a reputation for quality. We work with quality system brands and suppliers.
The role would suit a person wanting to make a difference; a strong but inclusive manager, who can reinforce the strong elements, push the right changes, while nurturing the positive culture. You know how to build a cohesive team that delivers results, all with a sense of humour!
You would join as the first Operations Manager, setting a new standard within the company. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage resources and inventory, quote projects, and support business development. Your leadership will help cultivate a positive environment while holding team members accountable for their performance.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the company. Work with the service and project teams for scheduling, resource allocation, escalation, and quality assurance. Assist with the business development process - product choices, quoting new and upgrade works, developing new market/client opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Ensure compliance and safety requirements are met. Work with key performance measures for yourself and the team. Qualifications: Appropriate experience in a leadership role, in the security or related trades. Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using operational management software and tools.
