The Opportunity We are seeking Behaviour Support Practitioners to enhance the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health, or behavioural challenges through applied behaviour analysis (ABA) principles to promote positive change and wellbeing.
To qualify for this role, you MUST be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission at a minimum of CORE level.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will catalyse transformation, helping individuals navigate complex behavioural challenges.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conducting comprehensive assessments to understand the root causes of challenging behaviours.
Using this insight, you will create tailored behaviour support plans that empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.
You will work with those facing complex behavioural needs to develop effective interventions, fostering positive outcomes and goals.

Key Responsibilities Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals to identify challenging behaviours and their underlying causes.
Developing individualised behaviour support plans based on applied behaviour analysis principles.
Collaborating with families, caregivers, and support teams to implement behaviour support plans effectively.
Providing training and guidance to stakeholders on recommended strategies.
Collecting and analysing data to monitor progress and make necessary plan adjustments.
Offering crisis management and de-escalation support when required.
Maintaining registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at a minimum of CORE level About You Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred support with individuals with complex behavioural support needs.
Demonstrated experience in report writing.
Knowledge of behaviour assessment and support planning.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
Demonstrated strength in utilising Microsoft, databases and similar software.
NSW driver's license, NSW Working With Children Check, National Criminal History Check, NDIS Workers Clearance, NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
There are no essential qualifications for this role.
However, extensive experience in the disability or healthcare sector is required and tertiary education in healthcare, disabilities or allied health are highly regarded.
