We provide a variety of services throughout the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
As a Team Leader, you will leverage your leadership skills and clinical expertise to support and guide a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners.
You will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for participants and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to those with disabilities.
Job DescriptionAs a Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of quality, specialist behaviour support services, ensuring that your team effectively implements assessments, observations, and interventions.
This role includes mentoring and supporting your team members, managing caseloads, and developing behaviour support plans for children, young people, and adults with disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver high-quality behaviour support services.Conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments using a range of appropriate tools and approaches.Oversee the development and review of Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.Provide regular feedback on clinicians' reports, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to best practices, while supporting junior clinicians in refining their skills.Liaise and consult with clients, hospital and community staff, carers/family members, relevant agencies, and government departments.Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group settings.Apply behavioural, psychological, and evidence-based theories to develop and implement strategies and interventions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Ensure that all team activities comply with NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission requirements.Supervise and ensure the accurate documentation of customer records, including file notes, support plans, reports, and incident reports.Identify, report, and document any use of restrictive practices, as required.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.BalanceFlexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.A manageable team size, allowing you to lead effectively without burnout.Supportive leadership team committed to your professional development.Who are Therapy Partners?An established Allied Health team covering the Gold Coast and Brisbane.A company that prides itself on putting clinicians first and providing ongoing support.A stellar reputation within the industry for our professional, client-centred approach and positive client outcomes.Transparency with everyone we deal with.A value-driven organisation that does what we say we will do.Skills and ExperienceCurrent registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Min.
Proficient Level).A tertiary qualification in Education, Behavioural Science, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related clinical field.Demonstrated leadership experience within a clinical or allied health team.Current NDIS registration to practice as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework.You must also hold:NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).Current Driver's License.QLD WWCC.Let's work together!Our application process is simple and easy!
