As a registered experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:
Supporting our PBS Clinical Lead and leadership teamto ensure a high standards of work is delivered in accordance to legislative requirements Ability to mentor and work collaborativelywith members of a multi-disciplinary team Assistingparticipants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through aperson-centered approach in a community based setting Developand deliver behavior support servicesin accordance with the NDIS safeguards framework ,particularly regardingrestrictive practices Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life Qualifications A minimum of 2years' in development and implementation of positiveBehaviour Support Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Proficient or Advanced or Specialist level Behaviour SupportPractitioner Experience delivering services under the NDIS A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence based therapeutic interventions A drivers' licence and full access to a vehicle A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one) Registration with relevant professional body Experience in providing training wand supervision to a team
