We operate within a hybrid model of working from home and across the WA community.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments tailored to our customers' needs and circumstances. You will develop and implement evidence-based behaviour support plans, overseeing the use and reduction of restrictive practices in alignment with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
This role is offered either full-time or part-time options of 0.7 or 0.8 to assist in supporting work/life balance.
The ideal candidate will have: Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS (Proficient level) or eligibility for registrationRelevant tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline such as Nursing, Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or other related health/community/human services areas.Familiarity with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding principles, including behaviour support and restrictive practices.Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Experience in facilitating group sessions, training, coaching, and/or mentoringProven track record in delivering strength-based and person-centred servicesA positive, contemporary attitude, and a commitment to maximise quality of life for people with disability.Submitting your application is easy, all we need is your current CV and a few questions answered and then one of the team will be in touch.
