About your AAA-Team Our South Perth team is all about collaboration and FUN! You will be working alongside a dynamic and social bunch that includes OT's, Speechies, Physio's, EP's, Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. We love getting together at our Jandakot community hub as well as local cafes to support participants, support each other and socialise. Our engaging and passionate Regional Manager, Hannah Dawson, is a Physio herself, so she gets what it's like to be in your shoes! You'll see her pooch, Rosie, in the office frequently (because all offices need a mascot)!
Job DescriptionYou will support vulnerable members of the community by acting as an advocate and role model. On a daily basis, you will be:
Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plansDeveloping meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practicesBuilding the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary teamAbout YouTo be successful you will have:
Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional (e.g., OT/Speech/Social Work) is preferredExperience creating, implementing and reviewing behaviour support plansCore, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support PractitionerWhat's in it for you?As you support many, we support you!
