Location: Nowra or Goulburn NSW / Belconnen ACTEmployment Type: Full-time or Part-Time (3 days a week)As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Aruma, you'll enhance the lives of people with disabilities by developing positive behaviour support plans. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work closely with individuals, families, and support networks to promote independence and inclusion.
We have a permanent full-time (38 hours/week) or part-time (22.8 hours/week) Behaviour Support Practitioner role, based in Nowra, Goulburn, or Belconnen. This hybrid position may require travel for community and clinic visits, with a travel time of up to 30 minutes.
Ideally, we're looking for someone with demonstrated skills and experience to meet the Core capability or higher (Proficient/Advanced/Specialist) for a Behaviour Support Practitioner, as outlined in the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework 2019, and who maintains suitability to deliver Specialist Behaviour Support under the NDIS.
