Are you passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Woollybutt Specialist Services is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioners or individuals eager to join our field. As a NDIS registered practitioner, you will play a crucial role in conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing personalised behaviour support plans, and implementing interventions that promote independence and positive outcomes for our clients.
Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised behaviour support plans (BSPs). Implement evidence-based behavioural interventions and strategies across diverse settings to ensure client safety and wellbeing. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to clients, caregivers, and support staff to effectively implement behaviour support plans. Collaborate closely with allied health professionals including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists to optimise client outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and records of interventions, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Full Australian work rights. Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Disability Studies, Psychology, or related fields preferred. Registration as a NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner at core level or above, or willingness to obtain. Current Drivers License. Current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain. Current Working with Children Check (OCHRE card), or ability to obtain. Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or ability to obtain. Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical assessments, including functional behaviour assessments, with a strong commitment to person-centred and ethical practices.
