Ability Action Australia's Sutherland Sydney team is looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners with current suitability at the Core or Proficient level as confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Successful candidates will provide supports to NDIS participants living in Caringbah and surrounding suburbs. What's in it for you? Responsibilities will include: Assisting NDIS participants and their families/carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning. Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans. Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework. Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals and strengths. Building the capacity of those who support participants in their lives. Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. To be considered suitable you will have: Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and innovation. Genuine passion for working in the disability sector. Solution-focused, highly organised, and possess exceptional people skills.
