Behaviour Mentor Primary School Location - Caerphilly Full time - 8:30-3:30 Pay rate - £12.82ph Start date - ASAP Job responsibilities: Support students in managing their behaviour and developing positive coping strategies.
Provide one-on-one or group mentoring sessions to students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, and external professionals to implement behaviour intervention plans.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with students with behavioural challenges in an educational setting.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience in managing challenging situations.
Be able to implement behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies effectively.
Have a passion for supporting the social and emotional well-being of students.
