Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Beaumont & Beaumont are seeking various APS4 equivalent Administrative Support Officers to perform general administrative work within the Offers and Payments & the Application Processing teams of a Commonwealth Government Department in Canberra.
What you will do: Complete administrative functions to support the work of the team including ensuring compliance with policy and processes. Assist with monitoring group mailboxes. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. Ensure the timely progression of applications to support trauma-informed best practice. Demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with a high workload in a high-risk environment. Maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks. Demonstrate empathy and understanding and communicate effectively in a trauma-informed way. Assist in building a culture that is supportive of staff and your own well-being. Possess strong communication skills and follow directions. Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and targets of the team. Communicate confidently and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate way. Apply legislation, policies, procedures, and information management requirements. Minimum Requirements: Experience in a high-pressure environment, especially dealing with sensitive material would be highly desirable.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and be willing to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Vetting Agency.
