This is an ongoing role, grade 9/10, currently based in George Street, Sydney CBD with a move to Martin Place in mid 2025.
About the role. The Corporate Finance team is constantly evolving and has an amazing opportunity for a motivated professional to join the team on an ongoing basis. The Senior Financial Accountant delivers senior financial accounting functions to the Department and other agencies, including the preparation of various statutory reports for audit, and financial performance reporting to NSW Treasury.

You're experienced in accounting functions and projects, including asset management, cash management and system development. You understand financial statements, reports, and accounting workpapers. You have relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership to a professional accounting body. You can proactively identify and resolve financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. You are a natural collaborator and strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing timeframes. We know the value of diverse experiences.
