A Senior Accountant is needed to join a thriving property company based in Nedlands, Perth.
The role requires an adept individual who can manage complex financial tasks, provide strategic guidance, and ensure sound financial practices within the firm.The organisation is a well-established property company that has been in operation for more than 70 years.
Renowned for their stellar developments and contributions to the Australian landscape, they pride themselves on their strong financial management and commitment to sustainable growth.DescriptionOversee and manage daily accounting operations.Statutory and taxation reporting including annual financial statements.Monthly corporate tax (including FBT) reporting.Income tax, quarterly business activity statements (BAS).Processing annual ATO taxable payments reports.Develop and implement financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company.Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax forms.Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs.Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership.ProfileA successful Senior Accountant should have:A degree in Accounting or Finance.Professional certification such as CPA or CA.Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.
