Sedgman is in the process of recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Brisbane. This role will be for a 14-month contract with a regional remit working across multiple entities. You will play a key role in the implementation and analysis of all reporting activities while bringing a consultative mindset to look at areas for improvement and collaboration.

Your Day: Identify and assist in the streamlining processes, e.g., month-end accruals, budgeting and forecasting processes, billings, and cash collections. Provide assessments on key financial project risks and opportunities. Preparation and review of allocated business unit financial performance. Provide required training to the business unit on relevant financial matters. Active involvement in the cash flow forecast processes for the Group. In-depth understanding and analysis of overheads, highlighting valuable insights. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or Commerce. CA/CPA qualified or studying towards a qualification. 5+ years post-graduate experience in financial/management accounting roles within a large corporate environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Excel modelling skills. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to prioritise and control workload arising from a broad user base.
