Who are we seeking: LIFELENZ is expanding its compliance team in Adelaide, and we are seeking a Business Analyst, Compliance to support our rapidly expanding global customer base.
As a key product differentiator, our advanced rules and compliance feature supports our customers and their employees in ensuring they operate in a compliant manner, aligned with local and federal laws.
The LIFELENZ Business Analyst, Compliance works closely with our international team of software engineers, application specialists as well as our global Client Solutions team to implement and maintain business rules on the platform, across the spectrum of jurisdictions where LIFELENZ is used.
You will be a subject matter expert for LIFELENZ in compliance requirements, effectively interpret 'legalese', seeking clarifications with legal experts where necessary, and translating these into technical activities which you will both oversee and implement alongside an experienced team of software engineers.
Recent hands-on experience in a similar environment is a must for this role.

What you can expect: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of compliance and configuration of business rules as they pertain to LIFELENZ functionality implementations around the world - essentially become a subject matter expert in compliance for the team.
In concert with the Compliance Lead, contribute to internal compliance initiatives / implementations and delegate activities across software engineers, defining and documenting associated tasks in a concise and accurate manner.
Manage and resolve production issues as they arise through customer support and internal QA channels.
Work with our Client Solutions team to ensure all compliance configuration / implementation activities are aligned and support current and future deployment plans.
In collaboration with the Compliance Lead, liaise with legal experts to seek clarifications and communicate the impact of these to both technical staff / software engineers and clients.
Participate in internal and client meetings to provide stewardship on compliance matters and their implementation on the LIFELENZ platform.
Consolidate compliance requirements from multiple sources (i.e.
customers, lawyers, business analysts, LIFELENZ application specialists) to make informed decisions and define implementation strategies.
Documentation of release notes and communication with client representatives as part of broader change management activities associated with LIFELENZ implementations.
Plan, orchestrate, and deliver associated activities to predefined timelines.
What you bring: 2+ years working in a software product-based organisation / environment.
Demonstrated ability to interpret compliance / legal requirements and translation into tasks to be consumed by software engineers.
Experience working with the Atlassian product suite (i.e.
JIRA, Confluence).
Demonstrated ability to understand software architecture(s) and/or knowledge of software programming concepts.
Formal qualification(s) relating to compliance and regulation, particularly as it relates to employment law, and/or equivalent work experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience.
