About the Role
BDO's Business Services division ensures our clients' success by adding value in every aspect of their business through the provision of world-class advisory and compliance services. Our clients are typically emerging businesses, fast-growing corporate groups, high-income/high-net worth individuals, and family groups, spanning all industries. Our team offers a range of services to our clients including:

Growth advisory Strategic planning Business mentoring Due diligence and transaction related services Accounting and advice Financial modelling Applications for business finance Tax planning and structuring Taxation compliance and advice, including GST Selection and implementation of business information services
Current Opportunity
We are seeking Senior Accountants to join our growing Business Services teams. You'll focus on delivering high-quality, value-adding work while developing your career in a high-performing team.
Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards across various industries Prepare income tax returns for a variety of entities including companies, trusts, and high net worth individuals Perform various tax planning tasks for clients and prepare advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters Provide a range of business and tax advisory services, i.e., business structuring, improvement, and growth advisory Liaise with clients, managers, and partners regarding queries Mentor and assist junior staff in their training and development
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a professional services environment and a keen interest in tax and advisory Relationship building skills; we work as a wider Business Services team, and you will need to liaise with various levels and teams across BDO as well as providing exceptional service to our clients Demonstrated analytical/problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work An interest in, or currently completing (or finished) a CA or CPA qualification Knowledge and use of Advanced Professional Solutions (APS) and/or Xero is desirable
