Job PurposeThe focus of this role is to manage the content schedules and curation across BritBox AU devices and platforms, with a focus on supporting the Editorial function within Global teams. This is a full-time role, based in the Britbox Sydney Hub.
You will work with global cross-functional teams, including daily contact with Britbox AU Content and Editorial, AU Marketing, BBCS Content & Editorial, Product, Global, content operations & Creative & Global analytics.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute monthly editorial content release for BritBox AUPlan and manage the merchandising of content across all platforms and devices, including maintaining BritBox content on partner home pages.Manage scheduling in CMS, overseeing the execution of editorial strategy, including personalisationManage onsite artwork which supports editorial KPIs and maximises available product featuresAct as the AU Editorial lead on Britbox International analytics projects; Analyse available data & insights to inform decision making for AUWork closely with the content acquisitions team to identify content needs and opportunities, and support content decision-makingOversee operational workflow to ensure content readiness, troubleshoot any content issuesSupport the Head of Content & Editorial on project strategy and executionWork with Britbox International cross-functional and cross-territory groups including Operations, Product/UX, Marketing, CRM, Customer Service, Creative, Global Editorial, Analytics and Insights teams.Act as Australia SME on global projects.Work with Britbox product team and roadmap, providing Editorial input to new features, on-product testing and troubleshooting.Manage senior content coordinator and content coordinatorKnowledge & ExperienceExperience of working with research, insight, editorial, content acquisition and marketing teams to schedule content.Specific video-on-demand scheduling and merchandising experience preferred but not essential.Demonstrable analytical and operational skills, ideally working with data insights and analytics and using CMS and databases.Comfortable working operationally with various technology and devices.A keen understanding of audience behaviours.Extensive British TV programme knowledge, with excellent editorial judgement and sensitivity towards local audiences.Experience of managing and developing a teamExperience of working internationally would be an advantage, but not essential.Impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once.Ability to work under pressure and to often tight deadlines and to adapt to a continuously changing environment.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Ability to interpret editorial intentions and contribute to the generation of ideas.Substantial cultural intelligence.Basic proficiency in project management skills.A collaborative approach.Enjoys working with diverse and distributed teams (AUS/US/UK).As part of the application process we ask for you to attach a cover letter to tell us why you're interested in this opportunity.
