Basketball Data Journalist

WANT TO BE A BASKETBALL DATA JOURNALIST? Do you love Basketball? Want to get your start in the sports industry? Sportradar is the official data and audio-visual partner to Australia's NBL1 and State Championship (Big V) basketball competitions. We are looking for Data Journalists, responsible for attending NBL1 games with authorized accreditation and reporting all the key events as they happen. Responsibilities: • Attend NBL1 Basketball games and report the action live as it unfolds from the venue. • Knowledge of the rules of the sport and the teams/players involved. • Collect data from the venue in real-time such as tip off, fouls, blocked shots, shots made, etc • Oversee pre-match reporting processes on scheduled events such as match time, format, etc • Comply with the moral code of the profession.
