Salary Range: $66,000 per annum
Position: Barista
Employment Type: Full Time (38 hours per week)
Skills & Qualifications:
Relevant AQF Certificate II or III; and/or
At least one year of relevant full time experience in a barista role or a similar position.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Applicant must solidly commit to at least 2 to 3 years of permanent full-time employment with the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, serve, and sell a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks.
Clean and maintain coffee-making areas and espresso machines to ensure a hygienic workspace.
Collect payments for sales and operate cash registers efficiently.
Promote our services and products to enhance customer experience.
Wash glassware and arrange bottles and glasses for display.
Replenish drink dispensers, shelves, and refrigerators to ensure availability.
Sell light snacks to complement our beverage offerings.
Select and grind coffee beans to ensure the highest quality brews.
