Langlands Restaurant & Bar is modern in nature but at the same time, rustic in character. We offer a fresh, colourful, sustainable and approachable dining experience, with updated menu's that change with the seasons. Our kitchen provides Victorian sourced produce, married with a local beverage list.
Allie Lane allows for an archetypal Melbourne adventure. It is central urban oasis, home to some of the city's best coffee and local produce. It offers locally curated beer, wine, and cocktail list or pick up some house-baked pastries and sandwiches. It's the perfect gathering spot for those who want to explore Melbourne.
The Role: As the Barista, you will be working within our Food and Beverage team to support the Venue Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day operations of both of our outlets by making Melbourne's best tasting coffees and creating connections with guests.
Some of the responsibilities include: Hot and cold beverage production, with coffee being the main focusProviding personalised and outstanding service to all guestsKeeping equipment clean and operatingHandle all guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient mangerSet, clear and reset designated working areas Qualifications About you: Experience in a fast-paced environment and working as a Barista with 2 years' experience is advantageousUnderstanding of Melbourne coffee culture and proficiency in Latte art.A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificateStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage your timeThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Culture Statement: We aim to create a culture that seeks to empower our teams by creating a safe and authentic environment through supporting each other's individuality, being open-minded and inclusive.
