As our Barista, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our small cafe's daily operations, including preparing and serving coffee beverages, staff satisfaction, inventory control and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our workplace. This is a Part-Time role with the potential to develop into a Full-Time position in the future. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages Interact with staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Process orders including accurate point of sale and cash handling Ensure that the cafe area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times including food and snacks Prepare basic food items such as sandwiches, and lunch/morning tea items Opening and closing procedures required Regularly monitor equipment performance and organise servicing of the coffee machine as well as reporting any repair needs to facilities Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Other reasonable duties as requested by Management Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a barista in a cafe or similar setting Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficiency in coffee preparation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons How to Apply: If you are a proactive team player with a passion to get Australia to space and a desire to succeed, please apply now by clicking the apply button and including your resume and cover letter or head to our website: CAREER | Gilmour Space Technologies | Rocket launch provider (gspace.com).
