The Opportunity We're seeking a Corporate Barista to join our in-house cafe, this is a permanent 30 hour per week position.
You'll work 7am - 2pm Monday to Friday (including 1 hour break) - no weekend work!
Based in the Brisbane CBD, you'll be working at our in-house café and in addition to making an excellent cup of coffee you will enjoy a multifaceted role where you will be responsible for: Overseeing the daily management of the café: coffee preparation, sales, ordering and new innovations.
Work alongside the Corporate Chef, to provide a well-balanced, nutritious and tasty food menu.
Manage the café communications, documentation, financial reconciliation and reports.
Provide ongoing coffee training, support and knowledge to other staff.
Assist the Client Services and Facilities Manager with administration and reporting tasks.
Provide waiter service for meetings including the set-up, clearing and cleaning of meeting and seminar rooms during busy periods.
Job Sharing Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to share duties and responsibilities, ensuring continuity and coverage during absences or peak periods including but not limited to Client Floor and Reception.
Provide assistance to clients and staff with audio visual and video conferencing needs.
Provide waiter and bar service for after-hours meetings and events.
Assist the servery, reception and kitchen as required, including after hours support.
To be successful in this position you will have: Excellent composure with ability to prioritise and problem solve under pressure.
Punctual, reliable and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
High level client focus with demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
Successfully plan own workload to ensure prompt service of customers.
Maintain accurate profit and loss records.
Develop menus, appropriate to season, with consideration to kitchen preparation and corporate environment.
