Bar & Beverage Staff (Hospitality & Tourism)

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on full-time Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and maintain high standards of customer service. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and quality control while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a passion for the industry, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of bar operations and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support: Assist the Venue Manager in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control and ordering, and overseeing all front-of-house activities. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the highest standards of service and actively engaging with patrons to address any inquiries, complaints, or feedback. Team Supervision: Supervise, train, and motivate staff members, helping to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure that team members are meeting performance expectations. Event Support: Assist with planning and execution of events and functions, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Financial Contribution: Help monitor daily financial performance, including revenue, costs, and inventory. Work alongside the Venue Manager to meet budgetary goals and identify opportunities to increase sales. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Act promptly to address any compliance or safety issues. Promotional Assistance: Support promotional activities, including special events, seasonal promotions, and customer loyalty programs, to help drive traffic and build customer loyalty. Qualifications and Experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospitality supervisory or management role, ideally in a bar, restaurant, or pub setting. Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in POS systems and familiarity with basic financial reporting. Leadership: Proven ability to supervise a team, maintain morale, and handle conflict resolution. Customer-Focused: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and fostering a friendly, inviting environment. Flexibility: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Key Attributes
