About BaptistCare Kularoo Centre, Forster
Set in the picturesque seaside town of Forster, Kularoo Centre is a well-established and valuable part of the local community. Located just around the corner from nearby shops and amenities, you will enjoy the best of convenience and nature. Designed in a country homestead style, the well-loved centre provides 160 beds catering to all levels of care, including respite, Ageing in Place, dementia, and palliative care.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Manager to lead and oversee clinical care operations at Kularoo Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will inspire and manage a passionate care team to deliver exceptional care to our residents. With your clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and commitment to continuous improvement, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring quality care and promoting the dignity and well-being of those we support.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage care teams, ensuring optimal staffing and team performance. Oversee clinical care, including assessments, care plans, and compliance with best practices. Promote continuous improvement through quality initiatives and risk management. Mentor and educate staff to maintain high standards of care and professional development. About You: Current Registered Nurse with 3–5 years of experience. Proven leadership in aged care and complex clinical settings. Strong understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and adult learning principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to BaptistCare's Christian identity and values. Desirable Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Gerontology, or Training and Assessment. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred). Additional Requirements: Availability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations as required. Successful completion of a Police Background Check. Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance.
