About the role We currently have a vacancy in our Retirement Village at our Camberwell site, for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and responsible person to be a part of the Resident Services team, providing services to support the residents in the Independent Living Units at Hedley Sutton. Duties include administrative tasks, support to a resident in case of a medical emergency, attending to minor medical issues, and keeping the mansion, reception, and communal areas clean and tidy. In addition, we require an outgoing and friendly host for internal café-style residents' dinners, including assisting with seating and serving of meals by kitchen staff. This position is Casual with a view to becoming Permanent Part-Time upon completion of the probation period.
Duties Hosting of twice weekly dinner service Facilitate communication between the resident, health personnel, site management, family, and other Emergency Response team members. Administrative tasks. Maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff through the implementation of OHS policies and procedures. Maintain the Mansion and all common areas in a clean, tidy, and attractive state. Respond to medical issues. Foster a sense of security and respond to security matters. Skills & Experience Hospitality (Highly desirable) Level 2 First Aid Certificate (Essential) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook (Essential) Experience in Aged Care/Nursing/Health (Desirable) Must be available for the following shifts Tuesday & Thursday 17.00-09.00 (Overnight sleepover shift = 6 hours on duty with remainder being "On-call") Weekends – One weekend day shift 09.00-15.00 (either Saturday or Sunday) Relief/Additional Shifts as required How to apply: Please click 'Apply Now' to apply for this position and view the Role Statement.
