About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to establish and maintain a strong and supportive partnership between the operational business unit and People, Culture and Safety. The People and Culture Business Partner (PCBP) will provide effective, accurate and timely human resources support, advice and coaching to managers and employees across the organisation with a keen focus on building a positive employee experience. The PCBP works collaboratively with the Senior Workplace Relations Lead to resolve issues and minimise risks.
This role has a generalist focus, working across all aspects of human resources, including program development, talent management, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, performance management and employee relations to deliver results and drive a high-performing culture for the benefit of the consumer, stakeholders and the continued sustainability of Baptcare. This role is also accountable for driving and contributing to key initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibility: Pro-actively partner with stakeholders, providing expert advice, coaching and upskilling of teams in P&C management processes such as employee relations, performance, compliance, culture and engagement. Contribute to projects and program, sharing knowledge and supporting successful outcomes. Coach managers and support the development of their leadership and management capability. Manage performance, including the Performance and Development Review program and addressing under performance matters and trends. Manage the Employee Engagement Program (Peakon), identifying key trends and working with managers on their action plans. Develop and update Policies and Procedures, Information Sheets and other resources to support Managers and Employees. Process Terminations and Stand Downs via the appropriate process. Key Selection Criteria Significant experience in case management of complex performance and behavioural matters Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders, at senior and executive levels Sound knowledge of current Australian employment law and industrial instruments Solution focused approach, with a consideration taken of broader organisational impacts Strong team member, demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate and learn Alignment and commitment to Baptcare's Mission, Vision and Values Essential: Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, psychology or human resources management, or equivalent professional work experience.
