Job DescriptionThe Banquet Barback is required to set up and break down all bar set-ups as requested by guests.
Replenish wine, liquor, and beer as requested by bartenders.Replenish glassware and garnishes as requested by bartenders.Bus all used glassware during functions to maintain a clean and tidy appearance in function and meeting rooms.Assist in preparing drinks in the absence of the bartender.Open multiple bottles of wine for banquet dinner service as instructed by the bartender.Inventory control of glassware.Break down all bar set-ups, returning wine, beer, liquor, and soda to locked storage. QualificationsHeavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.Knowledge of banquet protocol.Able to speak and read English fluently.Thorough knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer.Knowledge of inventory control.Familiarity with cocktail ingredients.
