Nestled on the stunning Banksia Peninsula and Gippsland Lakes, East Gippsland, Victoria, our 12-hectare coastal bushland property is ideally situated to provide for our unique Education Outdoors programs for students in Years 5-8. At MLC Banksia, you'll foster the growth of remarkable young women in a holistic education experience, utilizing also the exploration of the local and surrounding Gippsland Lakes, Mitchell River, Buchan, and Snowy River environments.

Your Role:
As an innovative and dedicated Outdoor Education Teacher, you'll be responsible for:
Leading and developing enriching curriculum based outdoor programs that ignite a passion for nature, regeneration and personal growth. Fostering a supportive and collaborative environment within our close-knit community. Cultivating strong relationships with students and colleagues through exceptional interpersonal skills. Embracing sustainability and environmental education principles in your teaching approach. Utilising technology creatively to enhance learning experiences. About You:
We're looking for a professional who brings:
A passion for teaching in the Yrs 5-8 levels, with a teacher registration (VIT required). Proven hard skills and experience in outdoor education, with relevant qualifications. Strong communication and organisational skills to effectively engage students and team members. A commitment to student wellbeing and innovative curriculum development. Commitment to the principles of sustainability and Environmental Education. A collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute positively to our community. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with the Gippsland Lakes and surrounding environments. Experienced rafting guide and dinghy sailing instruction, sea kayaking. Experience 4WD and LR/MR bus. Why Join Us?
