Sydney City Toyota and Sydney City Lexus (Kaizen Motors Pty Ltd) is currently hiring for a Banking Clerk position within the Administration Department on a six-month contract basis.
The contract position of Banking Clerk would contribute to the continued growth and success of one of the most reputable dealerships in Australia.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you must possess the following: Previous Banking experience as a teller or in an Accounts Clerk roleMicrosoft Excel knowledge and experience (Intermediate level)Valid Australian driver's licence (a requirement of this role includes trips to the local bank, therefore a driver's licence is essential using a company vehicle).Strong attention to detailPrevious Motor industry experience not necessary but will be highly regarded'Can do' positive attitude towards management and work colleagues, embracing the team cultureAbility to handle confidential information, discretely and professionally.Day to day, the Banking Clerk role involves (including but not limited to): Processing of daily banking including ensuring all departments have submitted daily takings and reportsPhysical banking of cash and cheques, involving trips to the bank for over-the-counter depositsDaily banking reconciliation, perform reconciliation between bank transactions and cash book transactions (including posting adjustment journals).Monitor, maintain and facilitate all facets of the company's bank accounts i.e. EFTPOS, online banking, periodical payments, and direct debit authority and deposit/payment confirmationMonthly general ledger reconciliation worksFiling and archiving documentation as requiredAd hoc assistance to the administration teamThis position will provide a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate as there will be a variety of responsibilities with great training and support.
