We are currently recruiting for Bank Support Workers to expand our team within a supported living service in Perth.
As a Support Worker you will support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury and COPD to live his best life possible while helping him maintain his independence.
He is a fun, kind and caring man who enjoys the outdoors and likes walking, going to the gym, cycling and swimming.
He also enjoys watching movies, playing pool and listening to the radio and is looking for a new staff member to support and encourage him in his activities.
In addition to this, the gentleman we support needs some support to promote his independence, such as: Helping him with his daily routines Assisting him to mobilise Promoting access to his local area and to build and maintain personal connections Administering medication Helping him manage his home and finances Our team provide support on a 1:1 basis and our shifts start at 10am and finish at 10am the following day, with a sleepover included.
