Opportunity – Novaskill is excited to partner with a well-established and respected business to offer a baking apprenticeship. This opportunity provides hands-on training and continuous guidance from a welcoming, supportive team, all focused on helping you develop a successful and rewarding career in the baking industry.

You'll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Baking whilst gaining experience and developing relations in the industry.

Learning outcomes – Make and bake pastry, bread, artisan products, meringues, doughnuts, biscuits, gateaux, tortes, and cakes. Apply safe hygiene, health, and work practices. Control and order stock and supplies. Schedule bakery production. Use a range of baking and cooking equipment. Course outcomes – The skills to make a range of bakery products to a commercial scale. A strong pathway to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities. Learn to operate bakery equipment and follow food safety standards. Gain hands-on experience in mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing baked goods. Requirements – A strong passion for baking and a desire to learn. Attention to detail, a good work ethic, and reliability. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Comfort with repetitive tasks, including kneading dough and handling large quantities of baked goods. A positive attitude toward learning new techniques, improving skills, and taking direction from experienced bakers.
