Based out of our Sydney office/warehouse (but predominantly on the road), we currently have an opportunity for someone with drive, passion and a hunger for sales in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role is part of our dynamic and ambitious chocolate team and will be focused on selling and promoting Barry Callebaut products. You will report to the Mayers' National Sales Manager for Chocolate and the Barry Callebaut Gourmet Key Account Manager and will have the opportunity to work with big brands, champion a new approach and make a difference in a dynamic role with big growth ambitions.Responsibilities:Coverage Planning: coverage analysis and planning the right approach & cadenceSales Planning: leading and working closely with the key distributors and Mayers' sales team to plan sales calls by channel and geographyDistributor Network: working closely with the Mayers' foodservice and Barry Callebaut gourmet teams to set clear targets, and working with secondary distributors to increase ranging and salesMarket Intelligence: updating key stakeholders on the activities of competitors, using sales insights to develop the right growth strategiesGenerating new leads in the baking and patisserie channel across New South WalesGrowing existing business through the portfolio of Barry Callebaut brandsAbout youMin. 2 years sales experience in bakery/patisserie (preferred) and/or foodserviceSound knowledge of the chocolate and patisserie marketExperience working with foodservice distributors and Salesforce desirableExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder managementAbility to self-manage and cope under pressureStrong negotiation and influencing skillsDemonstrated track record of achieving and bettering sales targetsResults-orientated mentalityInnovative with problem-solving skillsAbility to plan and implement strategy with key end usersReliable and good at time managementFriendly and approachablePrevious CRM experience and strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite preferableWillingness and an ability to travel to visit customers, including regional NSW and interstate (NSW drivers license required)Why Mayers Fine Food/Barry Callebaut?Working in a fast-moving, innovative and entrepreneurial environment, you will have the opportunity to build your own career with autonomy and empowerment and make a real difference to our business.
