Employer: Bakers Delight Horsham
Position: Baker
Salary: $65,000 to 75,000 per year plus Superannuation
Hours: Full-Time
Location: Horsham, VIC 3400

Bakers Delight Horsham is seeking motivated, energetic and committed Qualified Bakers to join our friendly and dynamic Bakers Delight Team that takes pride in our work ethic to provide our customers with fresh and high-quality baked products.

Applicants must be available to start work early in the mornings and be available 24/7 including public holidays to meet the business needs.

Your responsibilities (not limited to) will include:
1. Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per Bakers Delight standards
2. Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
3. Operate machines and tools to prepare bakery products
4. Decorating cakes with glazes, icing, butter-cream and edible toppings
5. Preparing pastry fillings
6. Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
7. Glazing buns and pastries
8. Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises
9. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times
Apply if you have:
1. Relevant AQF Certificate IV or higher Australian standard qualifications.
2. In absence of formal qualifications, must have at least 3 years or more verifiable work experience as a Baker.
3. Flexible availability to work across the 7 days of the week, which may include working on some public holidays, starting times can be as early as 2am.
4. Ability to be on your feet for most of the day and some level of manual handling.
5. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
6. Passion, punctuality, reliability and good organisation skills
Do not apply if you do not have full working rights and either AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV. In absence of any relevant qualification, you must have at least 3 years of full-time verifiable work experience as a Baker.
